Description

GlobalLogic Automotive is looking for a Lead QNX Engineer to join our growing Automotive engineering organization.

You will become part of a strategic project focused on designing and developing the next generation of an Automotive AD/ADAS platform for a leading Japanese Tier 1 supplier. The platform leverages state-of-the-art technologies to deliver a scalable, high-performance solution that will be customized and deployed across multiple global OEMs.

As a Lead QNX Engineer, you will play a key role in architecture, system design, software development, platform bring-up, and performance optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and customer stakeholders to deliver high-quality embedded software that meets the demanding requirements of modern automotive systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development within Automotive/ADAS.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills in QNX and Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of automotive software architecture and embedded system design.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with BSP development, system bring-up, debugging, optimization, and platform integration.
• Knowledge of Linux userspace/kernel development and ARM architecture.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP, MOST).
• Experience with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and Requirements Management tools (e.g., DOORS).
• Familiarity with Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/SAFe development.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Experience working in distributed international teams.

• Lead development of next-generation Automotive AD/ADAS software components.
• Drive software architecture, technical design, and implementation activities.
• Lead platform bring-up, BSP integration, optimization, and troubleshooting on QNX/Linux platforms.
• Design and implement high-quality embedded software using modern C/C++.
• Collaborate with architects, system engineers, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
• Work closely with customer engineering teams during requirements clarification and technical discussions.
• Support requirements analysis and system documentation in accordance with Automotive SPICE.
• Perform technical reviews, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices.
• Support software integration, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Participate in CI/CD activities and continuous software quality improvements.
