Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

As a Principal Firmware Development Engineer, you will be a technical leader driving the development of next-generation automotive solutions.

• Development of Automotive Peripheral Drivers and Human Machine Interface (HMI) system solutions, including PSoC Multitouch, CapSense, and other drivers
• Provide guidance to team members, sharing best practices
• Collaborate with Test and Product Engineers to successfully transition products into manufacturing phases
• Partner with Software and Applications Engineers to ensure comprehensive product validation closure
• Lead colleagues during the development of projects
• Solve higher complexity problems by leveraging expert networks
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

You are a technical leader with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset. Your ability to learn and grow, combined with your team spirit and easy-going attitude, enables you to inspire others while driving innovation in a collaborative environment.

• University or technical school degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or in a related field
• At least 5 years of working experience in embedded systems development
• Expertise in system-level designs, including architecture, hardware, software, firmware, and algorithms
• Ability to read, understand, and create schematics
• Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming and embedded design principles
• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE and ISO26262 standards, and AUTOSAR is a plus
• Fluency in English
