Description

GlobalLogic Ukraine is looking for a Trainee Embedded C Developer to join its Lviv office.

Customer is one of the biggest enterprise construction tools producers. They want to extend their market with new functional and HW solutions.

As a Trainee Developer, you will implement new and support existing embedded system libraries, create integrated automatic hardware-in-the-loop testing systems to leverage production code quality.

Requirements

This role is a great opportunity for someone who would like to:

• Gain hands-on experience in embedded software development for microcontrollers
• Expand both theoretical and practical knowledge of the C programming language
• Learn and apply modern integration testing approaches for complete software applications running on embedded devices
  
  
  

Key skills:

• Knowledge of the C programming language
• Pre-intermediate level of English or higher
• Basic understanding of microcontrollers (MCUs) and digital/analog electronics
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with version control systems
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M-based MCUs
• Knowledge of embedded communication interfaces (SPI, UART, I2C, etc.)
• Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and multithreading
• Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery/Continuous Deployment (CD) practices in the software development lifecycle
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Design and implement new features in C
• Develop embedded software components according to the provided requirements
• Maintain and enhance existing software
• Design and implement software for unit and acceptance testing
• Communicate with the customer on a daily basis
