Description

We are looking for a mature and proactive Scrum Master who can operate independently, rather than someone focused only on facilitating Scrum ceremonies.

The person should be comfortable taking ownership of delivery-related topics, proactively addressing blockers and dependencies, challenging inefficient processes, and helping the team improve its delivery predictability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development.
• Strong practical knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience working with software engineering teams.
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with delivery planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Experience managing impediments, risks, and dependencies.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners and technical teams.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work proactively and independently.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English.
• Experience working with distributed international teams.
• Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams.
• Experience in scaled Agile environments.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Support the team in planning and delivering Sprint and release commitments.
• Track delivery progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Proactively identify and remove or escalate impediments.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to maintain a healthy and well-refined backlog.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between Product, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Support estimation, planning, and delivery tracking.
• Monitor Agile metrics and use them to improve team transparency and delivery predictability.
• Facilitate continuous improvement and help the team identify and implement practical process improvements.
• Support effective management of cross-team dependencies.
• Facilitate resolution of team conflicts and help maintain a collaborative team environment.
• Provide clear and timely updates on delivery status, risks, and dependencies.
