Intern (L1 Technical Support Engineer)

Our Engineering Support Team is a key element in the device launch process. We assist stakeholders by monitoring performance metrics and providing on-demand reporting that directly enables critical product decisions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly responsible, detail-oriented, and passionate Intern Tech Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work with terabytes of data from tens of device models deployed to millions of active users in the field. Operating within a fast-paced environment and a tight release schedule, you will run SQL queries, triage tickets, and ensure data accuracy according to established guidelines.

Our team actively leverages modern tech: our workflow heavily relies on intense AI tool usage, including advanced prompting and sub-agentic workflows, so a candidate eager to work alongside AI tools will thrive here.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist the team with performance monitoring and generate reports using existing instructions and clear formatting guidelines.
• Perform basic triaging of incoming tickets and investigate metric anomalies.
• Gather and organize input data for engineers (such as device lists, environment setups, and metric patterns).
• Follow process instructions and carefully verify your output before submitting it for review or sharing it with stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Good understanding of SQL basics to write simple queries and pull necessary data.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs).
• High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, and the ability to ask questions when encountering new areas.
• At least an Intermediate level in both written and spoken English (B1).
  
  

Nice to have

• Basic experience with data & analytical tools (Amazon Redshift, AWS Athena, Tableau, Splunk).
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash) for task automation.
• Familiarity with AI tools / basic prompting to speed up routine work
