Role Summary

The Signaling Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, deployment, integration, validation, testing, and acceptance of Core Network Signaling solutions within Cloud Signaling Director (CSD) environments.

Working in close collaboration with other CSD team members, the engineer will participate in end-to-end project delivery activities, ensuring successful implementation of next-generation mobile core signaling platforms across 4G and 5G networks. The role combines strong technical expertise in cloud-native signaling solutions with customer-facing delivery responsibilities, requiring excellent troubleshooting, integration, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Deployment

• Design and implement Core Network Signaling solutions.
• Support architecture, deployment, and integration activities for cloud-native signaling platforms.
• Design, configure, and integrate:

• Cloud Signaling Director (CSD)
• Binding Support Function (BSF)
• Service Communication Proxy (SCP)
• Security Edge Protection Proxy (SEPP)
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and network architecture standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless implementations.
  
  
Integration & Validation


• Perform deployment, integration, and testing activities across customer environments.
• Execute validation and acceptance procedures.
• Support interoperability testing with existing mobile network infrastructure.
• Ensure all deployed solutions meet performance, functionality, and quality standards.
  
  
Troubleshooting & Technical Support


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during deployment and integration phases.
• Analyze technical problems and provide root cause identification.
• Support issue resolution during customer acceptance testing.
• Work closely with product teams, engineering teams, and customers to resolve complex technical challenges.
  
  
Documentation & Governance

Prepare and maintain technical documentation including:

• Low-Level Design (LLD)
• Customer Information Questionnaire (CIQ)
• Method of Procedure (MOP)
• Test and Acceptance Documentation
• Ensure documentation remains accurate throughout project execution.
• Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and best practices.
  
  

Project Delivery

• Participate in project planning and delivery activities.
• Support customer workshops and technical discussions.
• Ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Manage test execution and customer acceptance activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom network deployment, integration, or signaling engineering.
• Proven experience with Cloud Signaling solutions and mobile core network technologies.
• Hands-on experience with BSF, SCP, SEPP, or similar 5G Core network functions.
• Experience deploying solutions in cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, CNFs, and VNFs.
• Experience in customer-facing project environments.
• English proficiency (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with telecom cloud platforms.
• Understanding of 5G Service-Based Architecture (SBA).
• Experience working in international and multicultural project environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and cloud automation.
• Industry certifications related to Kubernetes, Cloud, or Telecom Core Networks are considered an advantage.
