Senior Full Stack Web Developer - Platform Solutions

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform Solutions team at Readdle. You'll help build and improve reliable backend services and web applications, modernize existing systems, and support key product and internal initiatives. This role offers a high level of ownership, from technical design to deployment and production monitoring.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services and responsive web applications, ensuring high availability, low latency, and smooth integration with core systems.
• Take ownership of the full software delivery lifecycle, from technical planning and API design to testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Improve system reliability and maintainability by refactoring legacy code, reducing technical debt, and working closely with our Principal Architect on architectural improvements.
• Establish clear technical documentation, coding standards, and best practices to improve knowledge sharing and reduce dependency on individual team members.
• Design and maintain secure REST APIs and microservices, ensuring reliable communication between systems.
• Support cross-functional teams with technical guidance and integrations for key product and internal initiatives.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions based on product needs, balancing scalability, performance, and maintainability without unnecessary complexity.
  
  

About you:

• 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling web applications, with strong knowledge of Symfony and React.js.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices, including API versioning and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and caching strategies.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests and maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Ability to translate product requirements and customer feedback into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to manage tasks independently, solve problems proactively, and take responsibility for delivery from planning to production.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams.
  
  

Will be a plus:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of information security practices, authentication protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, and SAML, or data protection requirements such as GDPR.
• Experience working on B2B or SaaS products, particularly management dashboards, subscription billing, entitlement management, or license server integrations.
• Experience collaborating with Principal Architects or contributing to shared UI/UX design systems and platform libraries.
