Finance Manager

About The Role

At ARX Robotics, we build Europe’s leading autonomous ground systems and robotic solutions for the defense sector. As we rapidly scale, we are seeking a Finance Manager for our Ukrainian subsidiary to run day-to-day finance operations: budgets, plan-vs-actual, cash flow forecasting and management reporting.

You will report to the Head of Finance and run the operational finance processes and controls that the Head of Finance sets up in line with HQ group standards. We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented professional who delivers accurate numbers on time and understands the operational drivers behind them.

What You'll Build

• Run day-to-day finance operations within the processes, controls and calendar set by the Head of Finance, in line with group standards. Propose improvements where a process does not work in practice.
• Prepare the monthly management reporting package (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and group reporting inputs in the agreed formats, for approval by the Head of Finance.
• Run the budget cycle: collect and consolidate departmental and program budgets from function heads and maintain them in the ERP.
• Prepare monthly plan-vs-actual analysis and spend forecasts by function and by program, and flag deviations to the Head of Finance and budget owners.
• Maintain the rolling cash flow forecast and prepare payment registers according to the approved payment calendar.
• Track the cost of service, repair and retrofit per program and per vehicle.
• Reconcile inventory and intercompany balances with accounting, and take part in stock counts.
• Prepare and track acceptance acts and payments under contracts with military customers.
• Work with the external accountant on primary documents, closing inputs and reconciliations, and prepare documents for audits and tax inspections.
• Support department leads on day-to-day budget and cost questions, and support the ERP project with data preparation and testing.
  
  

What You Bring

• 3+ years as a Finance Manager, Financial Analyst or FP&A Specialist.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and plan-vs-actual reporting.
• Experience in an international company with group finance processes and reporting standards is a strong plus.
• Practical knowledge of Ukrainian accounting; hands-on experience with 1C/BAS.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Background in consulting or a complex operational business: manufacturing, service or logistics.
• Highly structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to fixed deadlines.
• Good English (B2+) for daily work with HQ Finance.
