Purpose Of The Job
Our client is a Germany-based global pharmaceutical company. With a strong focus on research and innovation, they develop groundbreaking therapies and healthcare solutions. They are currently looking for a Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and Python skills to join an existing team and contribute to their data-driven initiatives.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
Apply hands on experience in implementation of new schemas and extension of existing ones
Implementation of new functionality
Work closely with client on daily activities
Review and optimization solutions
Education, Skills And Experience
MUST HAVE:
4+ years of experience in data engineering
Proficiency in modern, strictly-typed Python
Data warehousing skills , preferably using Snowflake
Data lakes and large-scale data processing
Experience in service-oriented backend/API development, particularly with FastAPI
Would Be a Plus
Expertise in Pandas, Polars, and Spark
Experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Familiar with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
Experience in building and running monitoring & alerting facilities across all deployed stacks
Proficient in CDK (TypeScript)
