Legal Counsel

We are looking for a proactive and thoughtful professional to join our multinational finance and legal team as a Legal Counsel (Corporate Counsel).

You will work closely with the Tax & Structuring Lead and play a key role in shaping the Corporate function of the finance and legal team, overseeing a wide variety of crucial legal and compliance activities.

The Main Functions For This Role Include

— Support day-to-day corporate document flow for legal entities in multiple foreign jurisdictions (including Cyprus, Malta, Gibraltar, the USA, Estonia, Poland, etc.);

— Complete operational tasks, such as: (i) ordering and collecting relevant documents upon request from various SKELAR functions; (ii) liaising with corporate administrators in multiple foreign jurisdictions; (iii) drafting and finalizing various documents upon request (contracts, invoices, etc.);

— Maintain and update all internal databases on corporate information, documents, agreements, and other templates;

— Contribute to establishing and maintaining banking and payment services providers infrastructure through documentary support and KYC execution;

— Prepare drafts of documents and agreements for intragroup financing arrangements;

— Conduct in-depth research and other analytical tasks in collaboration with your manager;

— Assist with venture capital and other M&A deals;

— Handle legal support of administrative activities (e.g., filings, offices, documents);

— Perform other ad-hoc legal requests, as needed.

Skills And Experience Needed To Excel In This Role

— 3-5 years of professional experience in a legal or corporate secretary position in a major company, reputable law firm, or compliance position at an international bank/payment institution.

— Experience in the tech/IT industry will be a strong plus;

— Ability to draft and review standard corporate documents;

— Ability to focus on details to ensure and maintain data accuracy and consistency;

— Strong analytical thinking and excellent organizational skills;

— Strong communication and writing skills;

— Practical and results-oriented approach;

— Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English is a must;

— Proficiency with MS Office / Google tools.
