Requirements

– 2+ years of experience with Ruby and web development with Rails along with other common libraries such as RSpec

– Solid understanding of object-oriented programming

– Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3

– Familiar with authentication libraries: Devise, Auth0 (at least one of them)

– Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful

– Experience with CI tools: Git, Jenkins, Terraform

– Experience with PostgreSQL (or similar)

– Experience with Docker

– Experience working in a Linux environment

– Experience of work on large projects with distributed teams

– Expertise in building software in an agile development environment

– Strong English language verbal and written communication skills

– Shifted working hours. Be present tilll 9pm EEST timezone

Job responsibilities

– Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code

– Integration of data storage solutions

– Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic

– Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

– Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
