The GlobalLogic team is engaged in an exciting project to enhance the customer’s software solutions. This includes adapting and optimizing system components for compatibility with the latest technologies, ensuring seamless integration, and maintaining high performance and reliability standards.

We are looking for a highly motivated Trainee Kernel Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with experienced kernel developers and system engineers, gaining hands-on experience with Linux kernel development, debugging, and optimization.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies, tackle challenging tasks, and contribute to developing innovative solutions for a leader in its field.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of C programming
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of operating system concepts (processes, threads, memory management)
• Eagerness to learn kernel development and debugging techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job responsibilities

• Participating in analyzing kernel modules, user-space scripts, and dependencies
• Assist in Linux kernel module development and debugging
• Collaborate with senior developers in investigating and resolving kernel-related issues
• Contribute to performance analysis and optimization activities
