Lead Data Software Engineer with Python

We are seeking a Lead Data Software Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating data pipelines for the data platform we are designing. You will be responsible for understanding features and data mappings, implementing Python Airflow DAGs to transform, translate, and move data to different states for training or inference.

Responsibilities

• Understand features and data mappings for the data platform
• Implement Python Airflow DAGs to transform, translate, and move data to different states for training or inference
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient data pipeline implementation
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Software Engineering
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in Amazon EMR, Amazon Web Services, and Apache Airflow
• Background in PostgreSQL and PySpark
• Experience in implementing Airflow DAGs to transform, translate, and move data
• Strong understanding of data mappings and feature implementation in Python
• Ability to create data pipelines for various states for training or inference
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English with a B2+ level
