Description

Our client is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest global manufacturing organizations operating in the fields of industrial systems, worker safety, healthcare, and consumer goods. The company is dedicated to creating technology and products that advance every business, improve every home, and enhance every life.

The product we are building supports automotive repair centers in various areas, including inventory tracking, collision estimation, invoicing, and analytics. Within the project, the team focuses on new functionality analysis and development, as well as maintenance and enhancement of existing web applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Knowledge and experience with Python, SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure OneLake, Data Factory, and Spark jobs
• Experience in building Data Warehouses
• Awareness of data processing flowcharting, relational and dimensional data modeling, as well as translating logical models into physical models
• Hands-on experience with Azure and good knowledge of its sub-components and services is a plus
• Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Technical experience in configuring and supporting database systems
• Hands-on experience in database tuning and troubleshooting (indexing, statistics, and query optimization)
• Experience with Agile projects
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Implement Data Warehouses using data models and building data pipelines in Azure Fabric
• Conduct research and make recommendations on database products, services, protocols, and standards to support procurement and development efforts
• Install and configure database components, ensuring access, consistency, and integrity
• Monitor, optimize, and allocate physical data storage for all database systems
