We are embarking on an exciting journey to build a brand-new automotive sales marketplace almost from scratch! This is a long-term project where you will have the unique opportunity to shape the infrastructure of a cutting-edge product that leverages the latest AI technologies.

Our Product Engineering team adopts modern software development best practices, leveraging Cloud Technologies and DevOps principles to produce highly scalable, highly secure, and highly resilient systems.

We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to head the team developing this new marketplace. In this role, your primary mission will be driving cloud readiness, analyzing infrastructure needs, and executing a substantial backlog of over 120 features specifically focused on Web Application Firewalls (WAF).

Requirements

• Expertise in Web Application Firewalls (WAF): Proven track record of configuring, deploying, and managing WAF policies and firewall rules is an absolute must.
• Strong Azure Networking Skills: Deep understanding of Azure networking architectures, especially Azure Front Door.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid, practical experience with Azure Bicep for cloud automation.
• Windows OS Knowledge: Practical skills in managing Windows Server environments and software update deployments.
• Leadership & Communication: Excellent English communication skills with the ability to confidently collaborate with architects and lead engineering teams.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and multi-cloud security practices.

Job responsibilities

• WAF Security & Implementation: Hands-on execution and post-implementation analysis of a high-priority backlog (120+ features) focused strictly on Web Application Firewalls (WAF) policies and security controls.
• Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Azure Bicep as the primary method for infrastructure implementation and automation.
• Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and lead a dedicated engineering team building the new marketplace, ensuring alignment with modern DevOps principles.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the engineering teams and cloud architects to ensure clear communication and seamless delivery.
• Systems Maintenance: Manage Windows environment software updates and ensure overall system resilience.
