Project Description:

The project focused on developing and enhancing a enterprise platform used by hospital systems to monitor real-time operational data, including patient flow, bed capacity, and resource allocation across multiple facilities. As part of the team, the role involved building and customizing Oracle APEX UI components to deliver intuitive, data-rich dashboards supporting clinical and operational decision-making.

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior Oracle APEX & UI Developer who will play a pivotal role in transforming and re-tailoring our existing engineering approach to APEX application development. In this role, you will leverage advanced AI capabilities within OCI to significantly improve the efficiency, scalability, and quality of our front-end solutions. This position requires a proactive, forward-thinking professional who can independently modernize development workflows, propose smart interface innovations, and deliver user experiences fitting our clients expectations

• 5+ years of commercial experience in enterprise application development
• Deep proficiency in Oracle APEX for application development and optimizations
• Proven experience or strong capability in utilizing AI-enforced solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to optimize development cycles, automate front-end workflows, or enhance the user experience.
• Solid understanding of modern UI/UX principles, responsive web design, interactive data visualization, and global web accessibility standards
• Strong PL/SQL and Oracle Database experience (SQL, performance tuning, data modeling)
• Experience in front-end technologies area: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience customizing the Universal Theme, Template Options, and creating custom CSS; Familiarity with APEX Plugins (custom regions, dynamic actions, item types)
• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of proactiveness and the ability to drive tasks and initiatives independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing presentations.
  
  
  

Job responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications with a strong focus on usability, responsiveness, and visual consistency
• Customize APEX Universal Theme, templates, and CSS/LESS to match branding and UX requirements
• Build and optimize interactive reports, dashboards, cards regions, and dynamic pages
• Implement Dynamic Actions, JavaScript, and jQuery for enhanced client-side interactivity
• Integrate REST/JSON web services and third-party APIs into APEX apps
• Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and SQL queries
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes/mockups into functional APEX pages
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and performance tuning of APEX applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks
• Communicate effectively with internal and client stakeholders, clearly articulating automation approaches, benefits, and results through Xray dashboards.
