Junior PS Core Engineer

Job Description

Our team specializes in the deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of 4G/5G Packet Core solutions. With a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, we work closely with global customers and cross-functional teams to build, optimize, and maintain the backbone of modern mobile communications.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Support the configuration and testing of packet-switched core network elements.
• Assist with troubleshooting of signaling and core network issues.
• Monitor core network performance and support fault resolution.
• Document core network configurations and technical procedures.
• Collaborate with radio and transport engineers on end-to-end system integration.
• Assist in the configuration, integration, and testing of PS Core network functions (e.g., MME, SGW, PGW, AMF, SMF, UPF).
• Participate in the analysis of network traffic and performance within the core network.
• Support the development and execution of test cases for PS Core functionalities.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and debugging issues related to core network protocols and services.
• Document network configurations, test procedures, and findings.
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of IP networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP).
• Familiarity with 4G (EPC) and/or 5G (5GC) core network architecture.
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a technical program in telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of packet-switched core network architecture (PS Core).
• Familiarity with signaling protocols.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and Ukrainian both written and verbal.
