Overview

We are looking for an AI Engineer who will help design, develop, integrate, and scale AI-powered solutions that support product, architecture, development, merge review, and quality assurance processes. This role combines advanced AI engineering expertise with hands-on mobile development experience, particularly in Flutter-based environments.

About The Project

TUI, is a global business with over 70 000 people on board, great history and challenging plans for building a digital future. TUI is the largest leisure, travel and tourism company globally, and it owns travel agencies, hotels, airlines, cruise ships and retail shops.

As part of the team, you will be involved in creating intelligent AI agents and agentic workflows that automate and optimise key stages of the engineering lifecycle. The focus is on improving software quality, engineering productivity, consistency, and delivery speed while enabling AI-assisted development across cross-platform mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate AI-powered agents that support the full Product Development Lifecycle.
• Develop and operate agentic workflows using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and related AI platforms.
• Define and implement agent orchestration flows, steering mechanisms, model configurations, and evaluation approaches.
• Integrate AI agents with engineering tools, repositories, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and documentation platforms.
• Develop and maintain tooling and repository integrations that enable AI-driven software delivery.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs meet established engineering, security, quality, and assurance standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PDLC Playbook, including reusable patterns, standards, best practices, and operational guidance.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, engineering, QA, platform, and security teams to identify opportunities for AI-led automation.
• Apply mobile engineering expertise to support AI-assisted development of cross-platform mobile applications.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, models, and engineering practices to enhance software delivery capabilities.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and building AI solutions using Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience developing agent-based systems, autonomous workflows, or multi-agent architectures.
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of prompt engineering, model configuration, agent orchestration, guardrails, evaluation methods, and AI safety controls.
• Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise software engineering environments.
• Proven experience using Kiro to build and operate AI-native software delivery workflows, including requirements analysis, technical design, code generation, review automation, testing, and release readiness.
• Ability to define and maintain Kiro specifications, agent behaviours, and governance controls supporting a scalable AI-led Product Development Lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience developing mobile applications using Flutter.
• Strong understanding of cross-platform mobile development principles and mobile application lifecycle management.
• Experience with mobile architecture, performance optimisation, testing, release management, and platform integration.
• Familiarity with large-scale mobile application modernisation or consolidation programmes would be advantageous.
• Passion for using AI to transform software engineering and product delivery, with a pragmatic approach focused on business value.
